Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” to grab an extra week of summer while returning to the normalcy of live music performances? The Beach Boys are doing all that and more when they finally take the stage at the Clay Center September 27, 2021!
After COVID-19 forced them to put away their surfboards and reschedule their performance originally set for April 20, the California natives are ready to safely bring some “Good Vibrations” back to the capital city.
The Beach Boys have been a pop music staple now for six decades and are one of the most successful and critically acclaimed bands of all time. Classic hits like “God Only Knows,’ “Surfin’,” “California Girls,” and many more were chart toppers back in the 60s and 70s and have never stopped resonating with audiences all over the world. The Rolling Stone ranked their album “Pet Sounds” #2 on its list of the “500 Greatest Albums of All Time.” And the Beach Boys were ranked #12 on its list of the “Greatest Artists of All Time.”
No need to go to “Kokomo” to hang onto summer, we’re keepin’ that “Fun, Fun, Fun” right here in Charleston, WV, starting at 7:30pm just a few days after the official last day of summer. We are not letting go that easily!
Tickets that were purchased for the original show in April will still be honored. However, refunds will also be available at the point of purchase, if requested.
