The 6th Celtic Calling Gathering will take place in Charleston, WV March 4th-6th

Celtic Calling is a much looked forward to breakout of Winter and herald the Spring Event in multiple venues in  Downtown Charleston. It features, Music, Dance, Sporting Events, Cultural Presentations, Film and Theater

Enjoy one of Ireland’s finest exponents of traditional music, ‘Teada’, in concert as well as other dancers and musicians, from ‘rakes’ to ‘chieftains’.

On Saturday March 5th 2022, we will make an attempt at Largest Gathering of People Wearing Unicorn Horns. The Unicorn is the National Animal of Scotland and features in the Celtic Calling Logo.

Event will take place at  Haddad Riverfront Park, Charleston WV at 3pm

The event will precede a Parade on Capitol Street.

Be a ‘Braveheart’ and enter a ‘Highland’ 5K Kilt Run. 

Throw ‘Cannonballs’ on City streets in the ‘Team WV Irish Road Bowling’ event.

Clans, ‘Coos’, Craft’s will be found in a Celtic Village setting.

Theater, and a Celtic Nation Film always feature at The Gathering.

Patrick Olwell, maker of flutes and subject of the film 'The Keymaster', is a featured speaker.

The George Daugherty Tall Tales Contest honors a great teller of yarns.

Thrill to a Parade, featuring Pipe Bands and ‘The Loch Ness Monster’ and ‘Welsh Dragon’.
