Celebrate the kick off of the Coonskin Festival of Lights with a fun-filled evening for the whole family. There will be a Christmas Tree lighting ceremony along with these activities:

- Fundraisers, bake sales, and hot dog sales from Capital, George Washington, South Charleston, Herbert Hoover High Schools and Ben Franklin Career Center!
- Disc Golf Glow Doubles will be there!
- The Junior League will have a Christmas Card Making Station!
- Hoppy's Little Express will be giving tours of the lights!
- Santa Claus and Jingles the Elf will be making an appearance!
- Live Music and interactive Band Performances from Charleston Metro Band!
- Hot Chocolate, Chocolate Milk, and Candy Canes will be provided!
