The Kanawha County Public Library is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Coretta Scott King Book Awards; which honor Coretta Scott King for her work towards peace and world brotherhood. Children in grades K-6 are invited to write or illustrate how they can create peace in the world. Pick up an entry sheet. Return your work by Nov. 25, 2019. Choose a cool peace prize for participating. All submissions will be displayed during the Holiday Open House. A grand prize for both writer and illustrator will be drawn at random on Dec. 9, 2019. Children.
