On Saturday, September 16, 2023, the Kanawha State Forest Foundation is holding its annual Margaret Denison Fall Nature Walks. Walkers should meet at the Nature Center and registration will begin at 8:30 am with the walks starting at 9:00 am. Walks are led by experts in their fields and include: Wildflowers, Mushrooms, Birds, Medicinal Plants, and more. Registration fees are $7 for adults, $2 for children 12 to 18, and under 12 are free.
