Nightingale Rodeo is an indie folk-alt country duo known for their soulful harmonies, intricate guitar work, and compelling lyrics. Formed in Los Angeles in 2017, the duo consists of Caitlin Anne Webster and Iain Micah Weigert, who bring together a blend of influences from blues, americana, folk, bluegrass, classic country and soul.

Red Birds are a three piece Alternative Folk band from Elkton, MD. Singer-songwriter & bassist, Zoë August is joined by her husband, Dan August on guitars, and long time friend, Sam Williamson on drums. The trio's varying influences meet somewhere between 90's Indie Rock and Appalachian Folk. While Zoë's working class tunes about loss, love, and coping put Red Birds firmly in the house that Patsy Cline and Hazel Dickens built, they also find comfort in the company of Elliot Smith, Ida, and Jason Molina.

The Parachute Brigade consists of six individuals with very different musical backgrounds coming together to create music that they love. Their style can be described as Indie Rock meets Folk meets Pop Rock with influences from all across the board. Their sound is driven by infectious melodies and haunting vocal harmonies that are accompanied by lush guitars, interesting textures, and commanding drums. Whichever way you see them live, they always deliver every performance with heart and soul and leave you wanting more.

Join us at Folklore Music Exchange on July 26th at 7pm to catch these independent artists on tour and hear some lovely alternative folk tunes!
