Pedal with Purpose | 60+ Mile Bike/Run/Walk Challenge to benefit Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley

In the month of May, commit to biking, running, or walking 60+ miles in honor of the 60+ year-old seniors supported through Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley.

Pedal with Purpose, a key fundraiser for Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley, returns in 2021 as a virtual sixty-mile challenge. To remain COVID conscious, planners have adapted the original event, a one day, in-person 5K bike/run/walk, to a sixty-mile bike/run/walk challenge participants can complete anywhere they choose throughout the month of May.

Despite the pandemic, Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley continued to provide essential services to senior citizens in Kanawha and Putnam counties including transportation to medical appointments and the grocery store; however, like many area non-profits, crucial fundraising events were cancelled.

Pedal with Purpose is an all-ages, family friendly event. Participants can bike, walk, or run their miles and log them on the event page to earn virtual badges and win actual prizes, all while helping raise money for a worthy cause.

Registration for Pedal with Purpose is $25 and all registrants who sign up by April 23rd will be guaranteed an event t-shirt. Kids 13 and under participate for free (no event t-shirt).

100% of the net proceeds from this event go to support the work of Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley. Our volunteers serve seniors in Kanawha and Putnam counties every day, neighbor to neighbor.
