Arts Amplified presents Picklepalooza, a free community celebration on Saturday, September 20, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. at City Center at Slack Plaza as part of the City Center Live event series. This lively downtown showcase features free samples from popular local restaurants, live performances, playful competitions, and opportunities to support local artists and arts organizations.

Guests receive one free vote for the People’s Choice award; additional votes will be available for purchase on-site, with all proceeds benefiting local artists. Additional awards will include Judges’ Choice and Mayor’s Choice.

In addition to savory pickles, Ellen’s Ice Cream will be on site with pickle ice cream for festival goers!

On-site entertainment will feature Charleston Rogues and Chucktown All Stars. Attendees can also jump into friendly competitions, including the Pickle Toss, Pickle Bucket Game, and a Pickle Relay. Adding to the celebration, local artists Diet Sweater, Black Locust, and Wes Eary will be exhibiting and selling their work. Pickle-themed merchandise will be available for purchase from T-Graphics. Admission is free and no registration is required.
