#WhatSupWestVirginia! What begin here last year as just a concept for SUP racing, has grown into a National SUP Racing Tour! #SX18

Now we're back to RACE where it ALL began!...on the Mighty Kanawha River at Magic Island, in Charleston, West Virginia!

#SupXross offers the most dynamic setting found on flat water…period! We use the same closed-course race track that is used in Watercross (aka jet ski racing). *More about > Pro Watercross*

#SupXross bridges the wide gap between standard “straight-line” SUP races, and the more extreme elements of whitewater SUP racing. By eliminating any unforeseen hazards, and establishing a safe, contained environment within a closed-course buoy track, this allows paddlers (of all abilities) the “SUP-racing ride of their life”!

So here's to the First 8 athletes who ever paddled the SupXross course... aka "The #OriginalOCHO" > we wan't to see you BACK!

#AppBoCo will be on the scene at SportsFest (FREE EVENT) all weekend long, enjoying the action of Pro Watercross as they race the course by way of Jet-Ski at up to 80 MPH! #MotoStoke
Find us at our tent to see & discuss the course live, register to race, & even get to practice the course after the jet-ski's finish for the day!

Projected Race Layout:
We will be racing Single-Lap Heats to keep the action high-paced and the spectators entertained! (Otherwise knows as "Motos")

Keeping it simple with 2 Separate Divisions: Youth & Adults Age 16+

Projected Heat Line-UP:
8:15 - Youth 1st Heat
8:30 - Adult 1st Heat

8:45 - Youth 2nd Heat (Final)
9:00 - Adult 2nd Heat (Final)

9:15 - "Paddle Royale" for ALL Paddlers ALL TOGETHER!
*This heat may potentially be used to determine a tie-breaker between the winners of the 1st 2 heats. If so, it will be staggered Adults 1st, then Youth 1 minute after. (For Size Disparity & Safety)
**The intention of this heat (if no tie-breaker is needed) will serve as a victory lap for our winners, & a fun-paddle with your friends & fam!

This #SupXross race is sanctioned by Pro Watercross, however is NOT an official 'Points Round' of the 2018 SupXross National Tour.
Therefore the race-fee will be 75% OFF the standard rate since there will not be prize money up for grabs. We WILL, however, have some sweet prizes from our sponsors & RACE for the PRIDE of WV

It IS, however, a celebration of where it ALL started for #SupXross, and a gathering of some of the greatest paddlers in the country!
West Virginia has long been known for it's World Class Whitewater, & the Incredible Men & Women that have pioneered paddle-sports!

We're stoked to add to that awesome legacy by further impacting the future of SUP racing and showing the world what we've got!
