The Back Porch String Band was formed in Charleston in 1973 and played throughout southern WV. Family and job obligations caused the band to cease playing publicly for 40 years. Now that the band members are retired they have rekindled their desire to play country, folk, and bluegrass string music and return to the stage tonight!
