If you haven’t seen local favorite The Parachute Brigade, Jan 4 is your chance. This Beckley band is getting a lot of buzz – all well-deserved – and making a lot of noise in the music business. Playing indie, folk and rock, The Parachute Brigade recently was featured on Mountain Stage, not too shabby an accomplishment for a band that formed just five years ago. Joining “The Brigade” is Charleston band, Peddlers Glory, playing “grass-stained mountain music,” and Jackson, Ohio’s Ben Davis Jr., an alt country/Americana artist.

The Blue Parrot hosts this concert Friday, Jan 4 and tickets are $7. The music starts at 9 pm.
